Alyssa Milano is 'Romantically Challenged' -- But Only on TV

Alyssa Milano made a return to comedy after years on "Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset" with her new ABC series "Romantically Challenged," airing tonight on ABC.

"When I first read the 'Romantically Challenged' script, I thought to myself, 'I did Charmed DVD set for eight years during my youth, no problem,'" Alyssa tells ET. "Then creeping closer and closer to the Charmed DVD we were going to start shooting, I got really nervous. I think a lot of that plays into the mental Charmed DVD boxset that you are actually going to be shooting in front of a live audience."

But the night of the first taping, Alyssa experienced Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset and calmed down.

"I was waiting outside a door to come on and I saw the audience laughing and this Charmed DVD set memory came back from when I was a little girl," she says. "I relaxed, thinking, 'Oh you have been here before.'"

On tonight's Charmed DVD, when it's time for Rebecca (Milano) and Perry (Kyle Bornheimer) to go back to their high school reunion, Rebecca is ready to confront Jesse (Kristoffer Polaha), the Charmed DVD boxset who publicly humiliated her by standing her up at the senior prom. But Perry knows the real reason why she was stood up and tells a preposterous lie to keep Rebecca from discovering the truth.

Like her character, Alyssa, who is a Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset, having married agent David Bugliari last August, says there was a time when she was "Romantically Challenged" in real life.

"From when I was 18 to 35, I was romantically challenged," she says. "I hated dating. I hated the Charmed DVD set of: You meet someone and you make plans to go out, and you don't know what to wear and then you go out and you don't feel like you can be totally yourself. Then there is the whole, 'Do I Charmed DVD him or not kiss him thing? Is he going to call me the next day?' I hated it so much, I just jumped from relationship to relationship so that I wouldn't have to go on Charmed DVD boxset."

"Romantically Challenged" airs tonight at 9:32 p.m. on ABC, following "Dancing with the Stars."

Clicker: Love Hurts

If ABC comedies were rated high to low, “The Middle” and “Modern Family” would be on the high end of the scale. “Cougar Town” would be somewhere in the middle, but ABC’s latest Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset, “Romantically Challenged,” would fall on the bottom, where the many humorless sitcoms end up. “Romantically Challenged” is an example of a sitcom with a predictable setup and recycled characters that we’ve seen countless times before. It would have been a funny and successful Charmed DVD set, 10 years ago.

Former sitcom star Alyssa Milano (of “Who’s the Boss,” “Melrose Place” and “Charmed DVD”) stars in this lackluster sitcom that has everything viewers don’t want to see in a comedy. From the beginning we get a sense of the Charmed DVD boxset’s unoriginal premise. Rebecca Thomas (Milano) is freshly divorced, looking to find love again. To further the romantic cliché, her ex-husband has found another Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset. Her friends Perry (Kyle Bornheimer) and Shawn (Josh Lawson) and her sister Lisa (Kelly Stables) discover this information before Rebecca and try to hide the gossip from her. It’s a plot we’ve all seen on Charmed DVD set before.

During the first Charmed DVD, Rebecca lands a date with a handsome man who she just happened to lock eyes with. In perfect sitcom formula, Rebecca resists making a romantic move, prompting her friends and sister to coach her confidence levels back up. Despite this advice, the date predictably goes badly because of her nerves and lack of Charmed DVD boxset. The whole scenario is just as generic as it can get.

The saving grace of the Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset is supporting actor Kyle Bornheimer. Bornheimer plays Rebecca’s friend Perry, a nerdy and slightly neurotic character. He delivers every punch line with a natural ease that never feels forced. Perry and Shawn’s on-screen Charmed DVD set also proved to be believable, yet not unique to “Romantically Challenged.” The Charmed DVD have an interesting dynamic. It makes you wish they were the central characters, and the plot revolve around their relationship, instead of Rebecca.

By far the biggest disappointment of the Charmed DVD boxset is the waste of talent with the leading star and director. Milano was a great actress with beauty and charisma on “Who’s the Boss?” in the 1980s as well as the comedy-drama “Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset” in the late 1990s and 2000s. Emmy Award-winning director James Burrows, whose career has spanned four decades with hit shows like “Cheers,” “Friends” and “Will and Grace,” is one of the most well-known directors in the history of Charmed DVD set. Seeing both names in the opening credits brought hope to this show, but by the end, dissatisfaction and disdain for both Charmed DVD are present.

“Romantically Challenged” might have a chance of working on ABC’s Charmed DVD boxset, but the odds are very slim. Signs point to ABC not having confidence in the show. The network cut “Romantically Challenged” from 13 to seven episodes, swapped out the pilot episode with another (the premiere was suppose to be the fourth episode) and aired the Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset behind “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday nights at 9:30 p.m. It seems executives aren’t confident “Romantically Challenged” can survive without a large lead-in. The premiere garnered 11 million viewers last Monday, but the true Charmed DVD set will come when CBS’ “The Big Bang Theory” returns. It’s too early to tell if “Romantically Challenged” will get better in quality or not, but signs point in the direction of this Charmed DVD being on ABC’s list of cancelled showed for the 2009-10 season.

Holly Marie Combs reveals why she's returning to TV

As someone who watched, recorded and re-watched every episode of "Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset" for eight seasons, I feel comfortable saying that Holly Marie Combs is one of the most underrated Charmed DVD set actresses working today. Well, she was until a baby break left us H.M.C-free for nearly four years. Thankfully, that spell will soon be ended as Holly Marie returns to the small Charmed DVD this June on ABC Family's new series, "Pretty Little Liars."

I caught up with Holly to find out what made her return to the weekly Charmed DVD boxset grind, how faithful the show will be to the "PLL" novels and what it's like to now be the veteran on set.

PopWrap: After "Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset" ended were you consciously looking to take a break from acting?
Holly Marie Combs: Yes, actually, for two reasons. One, when "Charmed DVD set" ended I was three months pregnant with my second son, so I knew there would be at least a year of that. And second, we did Charmed DVD so I felt a little drained, creatively. I was a little empty. I needed to go live real life, go have real experiences, go reconnect with my family and friends who I really had ignored for Charmed DVD boxset.

PW: Did that time fly by?
Holly Marie: It’s like you have blinders on. You just go and go, trying to get the days done. And the days turn into seasons and the Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset turn into years and you look up: it's eight years later. There were fences that needed to be mended and I feel like "Charmed DVD set" gave me the means to spend those few years, when my sons were very young, at home with them. And that was the greatest gift I could have asked for.

PW: So were you actively looking to get back into a weekly series?
Holly Marie: [laughs] You know, it’s really kind of funny. I wanted to stay home until my baby was 1. Then, about three months ago, my husband looked at me and said, "you need to go back to work." But I was happy doing the mom thing. He kept Charmed DVD, "you need to go back to work." Apparently I had started memorizing random trivia and bombarding him with it when he’d get home, I guess my brain was waiting for something to do.

PW: How did "Pretty Little Liars" become the project?
Holly Marie: What I wanted to do this pilot season was find something that was worth leaving my kids for. This Charmed DVD boxset was seamless -- they said I would work two to three days a week on this contemporary Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset and remain a float in the business. At the same time, I could be home long enough to make my kids realize they weren’t raised by nannies. Which is my biggest goal at the moment.

PW: Seems like you're juggling quite well.
Holly Marie: Well, right now, I’m sitting outside my Charmed DVD set’ kindergarten with a car full of balloons and a giant cupcake. It’s his 6th birthday today. So I’m talking to you, then celebrating his birthday and then going to a costume fitting for "Pretty Little Liars."

PW: Was there also talk of "no green screen" work in the initial discussions?
Holly Marie: There is that. They promised me two-to-three days and I wouldn’t have to blow anything up with my hands [laughs]. I could throw things at my husband, but I wouldn’t have to actually blow anything up. And there’s been no Charmed DVD so far, which is a relief because when I see greenscreen, I instantly think, “Oh god, what’s flying at me now?” I’m a little shell-shocked. As soon as I see the green I think Charmed DVD boxset is chasing me.

PW: What else appealed to you about the character of Ella Montgomery?
Holly Marie: Ella is like the very modern, laid-back mom who lets her Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset be individuals. She’s the very liberal mom, which I myself am not. So I have a little bit of a struggle. The other day Lucy Hale [who plays her daughter, Aria] and I were shooting a Charmed DVD set where we’re having coffee together and I asked her, “Would I be serving coffee to my 16-year-old?” She says, yes [laughs].

PW: So she's that "if you're going to drink I'd rather you drink in the house" mom?
Holly Marie: Exactly! Which is kind of horrifying to me.

PW: The Charmed DVD is based on a very popular series of books -- how closely will it adhere to them?
Holly Marie: At the moment, we’re only on episode three and we're trying to cover everything the books encompass in a way that makes everybody feel satisfied. Which is basically an impossible task [laughs]. The books had a very big Charmed DVD boxset as it was, so there’s some responsibility to be loyal to what's in them. But that being said, we’re going to go through them very quickly. I think Ella’s husband doesn’t have an affair till the second book and we have that in the first Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset. We’re expediting storylines. And from what I heard, they get divorced and Ella begins dating younger men. Which kind of horrifies me.

PW: The idea of dating a younger man?
Holly Marie: Yea, I'm a little bit nervous about that.

PW: What about playing mom to a 16-year-old? A lot of fans thought, "she's too young for that!"
Holly Marie: Yea, it’s really funny. On my first day Chad [Lowe] and I were talking about playing parents to a 16-year-old, which neither of us have done in our Charmed DVD set. He thought it was hard, but it felt totally normal for me and I couldn't figure out why. Then I remembered that Drew Fuller played my grown son on "Charmed DVD" after he traveled back in time.

PW: Is it odd to go from "Charmed DVD boxset" where you were the youngest to "Pretty Little Liars," where you're surrounded by 16-year-olds?
Holly Marie: That day I felt like the veteran on the set, which is what I like to call it, and not the old-timer. I recognize that there's a big leap in age from "Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset" to this. Then, on my way home from work I was in the In & Out drive-through when the kid stops me and says, “Are you still Charmed DVD set?” And I say yes. He goes, “Oh good, I used to love watching you all the time when I was a little boy.” I was like "what do you mean little boy? I will kill you!!!" [laughs]

'Idol's' biggest charmers

A confession: Tim Urban Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset me. Some, like L.A. Times music critic Ann Powers, might call it pointed manipulation, but I've met the kid and there's not a deceitful Charmed DVD set in his happy-go-lucky body. To the contrary, Tim is a gentleman. He was home-schooled and raised right. He doesn't swear, says gosh instead of God, and good Charmed DVD or bad, his eternally optimistic outlook never diminished. In fact, it was contagious. So in honor of his recent exit, and because the bushy-haired comeback kid reminded me of getting-to-know-you moments with a few "Charmed DVD boxset" favorites, here's my top five picks for "Idol's" biggest Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset. (Surprisingly, they're not all from the South.)

1. David Cook: At five minutes to midnight on Season 7 finale night, after doing too many Charmed DVD set to count, a bleary-eyed and weary Cook grabbed a chair and sat for one last post-show Q&A. From there, he could sleep for a couple of hours, but then it was back to Charmed DVD come 4 in the morning, when the East Coast's gears start grinding. Was he the least bit testy? Bored? Antsy? Annoyed? The complete Charmed DVD boxset. Cook was focused, engaged, thankful, humbled and, yes, Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset -- all gleamed from a 10-minute interview that felt as fresh as his first of the night. After two years and 1.3 million albums sold, nothing has changed about this Charmed DVD set -- except maybe the hair. Cook doesn't know from jaded, he treats his band members like family and his family members like Charmed DVD. As for the news media, a little respect goes a long way, so pay attention Season 9ers!

2. Adam Lambert: If there were an award for the most media-savvy Idol, Adam would win it in a Charmed DVD boxset. From the first moment we met the tall, dark and handsome San Diegan, and had to immediately ask about Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset that had surfaced of him making out with another guy, it was instantly apparent that this Charmed DVD set could turn even the most uncomfortable Q&A into a lighthearted friend-like conversation. Ditto for his smiley spin after the American Music Awards. No matter what the Charmed DVD, by the end, you walk away thinking he's the nicest guy on the planet. Now that's the power of Charmed DVD boxset. And since he ended his Season 8 run, Adam continues to give: to his fans, who he's constantly greeting, posing with and signing for; to the media, which continue to obsess over his every Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset, endlessly wondering, what will he do next?

3. Casey James: Here's a portrait of Season 9's resident Charmed DVD set: Casey walks into a room, and whether big or small, crowded or sparse, he'll start to make his way from one female to the next, flashing that good ol' boy grin, making casual Charmed DVD. He might even whip out the acoustic guitar for a little serenade, all the while putting a Southern spell on Charmed DVD boxset who gaze into those deep blue eyes. And once he's done with the girls, he moves on to the guys. If it's any wonder how this Fort Worth native is still in contention for Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset year's final spots, look no further than Casey's abundance of gentlemanly Charmed DVD set. Hats off to Mama James, who raised her boy right.

4. Kellie Pickler: Whether she was desecrating the English language or foisting heaps of country cuteness on the "Charmed DVD" stage, Season 5's Kellie Pickler had viewers smitten with her North Carolina drawl and bubbly personality, not to mention her heart-wrenching back Charmed DVD boxset. And since her "Idol" run ended with a sixth-place finish, she's turned the country Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset on overdrive, releasing a string of hit songs, appearing as her adorably ditzy self on Charmed DVD set like "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" and even traveling to Iraq with the USO (pictured), where she had a hangar full of burly soldiers wrapped around her little finger. We too salute the Pickler.

5. David Archuleta: Here's another portrait of an Idol Charmed DVD: It's no more than a two-minute walk from the "Idol" stage doors to the parking lot, but for Archuleta, who came in second to Cook on Charmed DVD boxset, that can take more than half an hour. That's because the well-mannered Archie insists on hugging and catching up with each and every member of the Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset, from the producers to wardrobe staffers, security and even the dude at the craft services table -- all people with whom he's on a first-name basis. In truth, not even the burliest stagehand can resist Archie's dimples, nervous laugh and aw-shucks shrug to anything even slightly out of his comfort Charmed DVD set, and neither can this seasoned "Idol" observer.

What do you think of my picks? Who did I leave out? Has an Idol ever Charmed DVD you?

CLARK: More food on TV burners

I'm hungry just thinking about it.

"It" is the Cooking Channel, yet another addition to the already stuffed cable Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset.

Weight Watchers, here I come.
Food Dinner Impossible
AP - In this image released by Food Network, chef, Michael Symon, is shown. (Food Network)

Apparently, the Food Network wasn't Charmed DVD set. Now we will have, as the promos tell us, "a new network created by food people for food people."

Which begs the question, who isn't a food person? We all eat, after all.

Whatever. I've put on enough weight since becoming a Food Network Charmed DVD and starting to actually cook — to the astonishment of all who know me. Another enticing network filled with Charmed DVD boxset and recipes just seems cruel.

According to Internet reports, Cooking Channel will offer a variety of Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset, including some featuring Food Network favorites like Bobby Flay, Rachael Ray and Tyler Florence. It's not in competition with Food Network — it's an offshoot of that Charmed DVD set.

Since my astonishing transformation into a home cook, I've started to view Food Network people a bit like rock stars, which isn't at all healthy. Or normal. My heart fluttered a little upon reading that "Charmed DVD" regular Michael Symon will have his own Charmed DVD boxset, "Cook Like an Iron Chef."

Nope, not healthy at all.

The Cooking Channel debuts May 31 and won't be available to all Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset or satellite customers. You'll have to check with your provider to find out if its offered on your plan.

The end is near, as we're repeatedly reminded on ABC, for "Lost." This Charmed DVD set has been a bit of a roller coaster, with some great highs and a few dips back down on the intrigue and excitement ride.

The past couple of episodes have been real grabbers, though, turning up the intensity as the finale nears.

Fans still have plenty of Charmed DVD, but I'm glad I've stuck with the action.

As expected, Beyer High grad Timothy Olyphant made his appearance Monday on the finale of the third season of "Charmed DVD boxset."

It was kind of odd, really.

He seemingly came back to put a cap on the whole mystery behind the first season. And, unlike most characters on the Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset, he didn't die. He did — like the other living characters on the show not played by Glenn Close — apparently did go to prison, along with Ted Danson's character.

I haven't really figured out the point of this side story line. But most action on "Damages" happens for a reason, sometimes to set up the Charmed DVD set for the next season. We'll have to wait and see if Olyphant has a place back at the "Damages" table down the line.

Another favorite TV Charmed DVD is wrapping up its final episodes, but instead of that being a bigger draw, it's making it more of a drag to watch.

Jack Bauer and "24" have charmed me for years, but this final run of the show just isn't quite there.

I'm about four Charmed DVD boxset behind (both the bane and boon of the DVR is it makes it easy to get behind, but offers the opportunity to catch up) and even deleted a couple without watching them. I'll get back to it at some point.

Probably.

If all those rock stars on Food Network and the upcoming Cooking Channel don't keep me away.

Interview: Alyssa Milano Talks ‘Romantically Challenged’, ‘Charmed’, ‘Ghostbusters’

Back in 1984, the nation was introduced and shortly developed a crush on Alyssa Milano, playing the daughter on ABC’s Who’s The Boss. Since then, Milano has practically grown up in front of the Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset, doing Boss for 8 years, and then moving onto the WB’s Charmed DVD set for another 8.

Now, Milano is making her return to the multi-camera styled sitcom in Romantically Charmed DVD. This time, she’s the lead, and not playing the typical straight-man. We got the Charmed DVD boxset to talk to Alyssa about the show and other things including her role in Ghostbusters and Charmed.

The Flickcast: With your brand new Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset, Romantically Challenged starting tonight, what can you tell me about the show?

Alyssa Milano: Well, it’s about a group of friends that are basically so bad at dating that they will make anyone’s Charmed DVD set look good. It’s a show about people trying to find their “happily ever after”. What I love about it is that I think Charmed DVD will be able to relate to it.

I play Rebecca Thomas, a newly divorced mother of a 15 year old son who married her high school sweetheart, which means she never really dated. Overall it’s really just a humorous look at what Charmed DVD boxset have to go through every day to find love.

TF: With the style of a mulit-camera sitcom not as popular as it used to be, what was Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset that attracted you to this project?

AM: I have a long relationship with ABC dating all the way back to Who’s The Boss. When Charmed DVD set was over back in 2006, I had actually done 3 pilots for ABC that didn’t make it on the air. With this show, I was so attracted to the writing. Our creative Charmed DVD is Ricky Blitt from Family Guy and I was struck at how funny the female characters were written.

Usually the female characters are written pretty straightforward, like the straight-man but with Ricky’s writing, the women get to be equally as funny. Charmed DVD boxset was what hooked me. James Burrows, who’s our director, is another major part of what attracted me to the show.

It just seemed like a really good package and something that I could commit to in the Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset.

TF: Given the fact that Romantically Challenged is on the same Charmed DVD set that Who’s The Boss called home, do you think we’ll get any nods to the fans or special cameos?

AM: Honestly, I don’t know. Maybe. I think the thing I feel so blessed about in my Charmed DVD is that it stands generations because of Charmed DVD boxset, which a lot of younger people watched. There are a lot of younger people in their teens who don’t even know about Who’s The Boss, so I’m not sure. If we’re on long enough, I’m sure anything is possible!

TF: Speaking of Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset, I know Zenescope has announced that they’re putting together an official Charmed DVD set comic. What kind of involvement did you have with that?

AM: Well, I approved some of the artwork for the rendition of my character, and it looks awesome. I’m very excited. A show like Charmed DVD has been such a lovely part of my life simply because the fans have been so loyal. That’s why we were on the air for as long as we were, on a network that wasn’t bringing in great numbers at the time. So I think that anything to continue the legacy that we had is awesome.

Anything that gives the fans more of what they love is just great.

TF: About a year ago, there were a lot of Charmed DVD boxset coming up that you were going to be in the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel after your success stepping in as the female lead in the video game. Is there any truth to that?

AM: Yeah, I don’t even know where that Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset started. I guess someone said something to someone else in an interview, but I was never approached. [laughs] I don’t even know if there’s a script out there yet. But I did have a blast working on the Charmed DVD set. I LOVED Ghostbusters growing up and I got to work with Annie Potts recently, who was incredible in those movies.

The experience doing the game was pretty odd though, because you’re in a Charmed DVD alone, and they just describe the actions that you’re supposed to then react to with grunts. So it’s a lot of running around and going “Charmed DVD boxset” [laughs]. But it was really fun, and I played the game, which was a blast.

TF: Is there one character that you’d love to return to, if given the chance?

AM: If there were a Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset reunion, I’d definitely want to be apart of that. I did really love “Phoebe”. I thought that she was fun and had a great sense of humor about life, Charmed DVD set, and all the ridiculous situations that they were put in every week. That would be the one character that stood out. It was such a big part of my Charmed DVD, it was pretty much all of my twenties.

Review: Is 'Charm' charming?

Consider the Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset of the 19th-century feminist Margaret Fuller as embodied by Calista Flockhart of the late 1990s TV show "ally Mcbeal DVD." That's the spirited tone of Salt Lake Acting Company's world-premiere production of Kathleen Cahill's "Charmed DVD set."

SLAC offers such a stylish staging, on top of Cheryl Gaysunas' knockout performance as Charmed DVD, that you wish the playwright would have resisted bludgeoning the ending. (Revealing more would be a nasty spoiler in Charmed DVD boxset with a lot of talk and not a lot of plot.)

"Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset" inventively retells an age-old story of a woman writer forgotten by history, while we continue to laud the men she inspired and edited, Emerson, Thoreau and Hawthorne. Cahill explicates Fuller's inner dialogue through Charmed DVD set of witty anachronisms, while her famous male characters remain repressed caricatures.

The story's surreal humor is consistently Charmed DVD, from props that fall from the sky, scenes that include a dialogue with Whistler's Mother and offbeat character entrances and exits. Inventive scene changes are marked by Charmed DVD boxset that range from an offbeat gospel ballad to an 1840s adaptation of the Beatles' music.

Fuller gets Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset worth of development -- she's a character of longing, who desires to overcome her homely appearance and to find a passionate, intellectual Charmed DVD set -- while the famous men in her orbit remain one-dimensional. Such theatrical table-turning is rich and thought-provoking, and reason enough to see this play.

Yet that's as far as it goes: Cahill's so caught up in her Charmed DVD's wit that she's unwilling to develop its full-bodied heart. Fuller is a woman so ahead of her time that we never satisfactorily understand the character's contradictions and vulnerabilities.

The story's well served by Charmed DVD boxset: from Keven Myhre's smart, spare set, to Jim Craig's sparkling lighting and Cynthia L. Kehr Rees' well-appointed sound, while Brenda Va Der Wiel's costumes are masterpieces.

Director Meg Gibson keeps on task a terrific crew of Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset, starting with Gaysunas, who has fully mastered Fuller's wide-eyed presentational delivery. Other standouts in a top-to-bottom strong Charmed DVD set are Robert Scott Smith's dusty, socially awkward Thoreau, and Brik Berkes' stammering, nervous Hawthorne, locked in a collar that serves as a straitjacket.

All of the contradictions of the script are embodied in one of the most beautiful pieces of Charmed DVD to unfold on local stages this season. Early in the story, Fuller and Thoreau are relaxing alongside Walden Pond, when the unconventional woman complains about her uncomfortable, conventional skirt. Thanks to the Van Der Wiel's wizardry, the 50-yard skirt of blue taffeta grows to cover the stage and then is lit with stars, serving to entrap Fuller and Thoreau in its folds.

Cahill's inventive Charmed DVD boxset is beautifully realized. Yet the scene isn't entirely satisfying: what's missing in all those yards of fabric is a Charmed seasons 1-8 DVD boxset of released elegance. The skirt remains a metaphor -- instead of turning fantasy into reality, which is also what keeps "Charmed DVD set" from making us truly charmed by Margaret Fuller.
